Glenwild Golf and Country Club

Designed by Tom Fazio, the course at the Glenwild Golf Club and Spa is recognized by Golf Digest as the Best Course in Utah. The 7,541-yard, par-71 course is guaranteed to challenge golfers of all skill levels. And what could be better after a round of golf than some quality time at the spa? The 39,000 sq. ft. Clubhouse and Spa offers fine and casual dining, an expansive spa and treatment facility, state-of-the-art fitness center, year-round swimming pool, plus Camp Glenwild and outdoor play area for children.

Promontory

The Jack Nicklaus designed Promontory Ranch Club was rated the 3rd Best New Private Course in the country by Golf Digest Magazine in 2008. At almost 8,000 long, the course is located in an area known as the “Painted Valley” and offers players picturesque views of Deer Valley Ski Resort and the Uinta Mountain range.

The Pete Dye Canyon Golf Course has received numerous accolades, including Golf Inc. magazine's 2003 Golf Development of the Year. The Clubhouse overlooks the 18th hole of the golf course and offers members excellent dining options at the exclusive Hearth grill/bistro, massive fireplaces, luxurious men's and women's lockers, lounge areas and a fully equipped pro shop.

Tuhaye

Designed by Masters and British Open Champion, Mark O’Meara, the Tuhaye Golf Course offers members both a challenging course and phenomenal panoramic views. Rated one of Golf Digest’s top 10 new private courses in 2006, it features all-bent grass fairways, greens and tees. The eye-catching par 72 layout spans 5,200 to 7,800 yards.

Park Meadows

The Jack Nicklaus designed Park Meadows Golf Course (designed in the Scottish links tradition) features 105 sand bunkers and water on 12 holes. Located just minutes from historic Main Street and Deer Valley, Park Meadows Country Club provides full service amenities such as professionally staffed pro-shop, fully equipped fitness facility, locker rooms and an outdoor staffed swimming complex.

Red Ledges

The Jack Nicklaus designed Red Ledges winds through cedar-lined canyons, along dramatic red rock cliffs and over plateaus that give way to breathtaking vistas. In short, every hole is as beautiful as it is challenging.

In December of 2009 the 7,653 yard course was rated as the #1 Best New Private Course in America by GOLF Magazine. And yardages are not just challenging; they were designed to ensure that golfers were required to use all the clubs in their bag to negotiate the course.

The extraordinary Practice Facility, complete with acres of bent grass tee surfaces and target greens, were designed to provide the same feel as the course. The facility also boasts large practice putting and chipping greens and first class instruction from outstanding PGA Professionals.

Public Courses

Park City Golf Course is consistently ranked as one of the premier public golf courses in the intermountain region. In 2003, #18 on this William Neff signature golf course was redesigned by William Neff Jr. and has proven to be one of the classic finishing holes in Utah. The club’s elevation of 6700 feet can actually add distance to your shots while you play on a course that is typically 10 to 15 degrees cooler than most other courses in the area.

Mountain Dell

Mountain Dell may be a public course, but it certainly doesn’t look or play like one. Located in Parley's Canyon, the course soars high above Salt Lake City at an altitude of 6,000 feet above sea level. The course offers players 36 holes of excellent golf on two outstanding courses. Playing the course is a unique adventure from the breathtaking views and frequent glimpses of wildlife such as moose, deer, elk, eagles, hawks, badgers, squirrels, and an occasional cougar.

The higher elevation provides ideal summer golfing conditions. The Canyon Course , designed by Bill Neff, stretches up the eastern mountain from the clubhouse approximately four miles before looping back.  The Lake Course, designed by William Bell, features narrow, rolling fairways and the chance for some spectacular tee shots over deep ravines and crystal clear water.

Soldier Hollow

The Gene Bates designed Soldier Hollow golf course players offers two spectacular golf courses. At almost 7600 yards, the Gold Course is a championship golf course with a layout guaranteed to test your skill. You will need to bring your "A" game with these well bunkered holes and forced carries. The entire course offers a good mix of long par 5s, all-out 4s and unforgettable par 3s.

Gene Bates Golf Design won the 2004 Golf Architect of the Year award partially on the strength of this golf course. One of the longest courses in the state, it has the distinction of being the only golf course built on an Olympic venue.

While the Silver Course comes in at 3335 yards, and isn’t quite as demanding as the Gold Course, it still offers championship sized fun with its less demanding layout. Because of the less forced carries, and primarily flat playing surfaces, the Silver Course has become a big draw at Soldier Hollow.

The Links at Homestead

The Links at Homestead offers residents the best of both worlds. For those ready to hit the links, world-class golf is not far away. Residents of the Links at The Homestead are just minutes away from 90-holes of championship golf. And both the Wasatch State Park and Soldier Hollow golf facilities offer 36-holes guaranteed to test even the most skilled of players.

If you brought your fly rod, the sparkling blue waters of the Provo is waiting with some of the area’s best fishing. Or maybe you’ll take an afternoon and hike through the mountains, go for a leisurely (or not so leisurely) bike ride or maybe saddle up for an afternoon on horseback. And when it’s time to relax, you can make the short drive to Jordanelle or Deer Creek Reservoirs for a day on the water.
