Park City Home Sale

Last week, my clients put their Park City home on the market and had it under contract in under 24 hours.

Their 4-bedroom, single-level home on a flat lot in Park Meadows had showings before it officially hit the market. It was virtually brand new inside and out after being mostly rebuilt a few years ago. Perfect for a family or couple with frequent guests, it wasn’t going to last long.

The style of this home and it’s condition had a lot to do with the quick sale, but these sellers also did all of the right things to close the deal so fast.

Here are the steps they took. Every seller should do the same to sell their home as quickly as possible.

1. Fix Everything

Park City is within easy reach of 5 National Parks and Arches is one of the most amazing. Only a 4-hour drive from Park City, or a 1-hour flight from Salt Lake City International to Moab’s regional airport. The park is located just outside the town of Moab and you won’t even have to rough it (unless you want to). It’s a great escape for a whole family or for a couple.

Luxury accommodations that rival some of our resorts are hidden along the majestic Colorado. You can easily spend 3 days driving through Arches, hiking, and enjoying the pool at the hotel. One of my favorites even has a full-blown spa. The national park is open year-round, 24 hours a day, but the best times to go are just after ski season(April-May) and early fall

Rick Klein, a local expert on market statistics has been tracking these positive signals since 2007. If 2014 is anything like last year, we’ll continue to see these trends improve throughout the year.

The only challenge this year is going to be supply, but if you know about these other trends and keep that in mind, you can navigate the landscape effectively.
