…Over the years, I have always toured clients around Park City to discuss future growth. One of the key areas are the two parking lots at the base of Park City Mountain Resort. There was an overall approval secured in the 1990's by the prior owners, and now that Vail owns the resort, they are searching for a developer to take on the project. I shattered my crystal ball a long time ago, so I do not know exactly whats coming, but would envision a base similar to Vail Village, or Beaver Creek. The parking lots will turn into underground or stacked parking garages, and there will be a nice mix of residential, hotel, retail, restaurants, and service businesses at the base. It will be interesting to see what unfolds in the future.
