I wanted to share an interesting investment opportunity with you in Old Town.

North Star is a large duplex that generates strong rental revenue, and unlike a lot of properties in Old Town, is NOT historical. This property can be torn down and re-developed, so no preservation rules means bring your bulldozer.

With the “Vail Effect” in full force, this is a chance to tie up two large lots (70’ x 140’ each) that currently throw off strong rental income.  Then, whenever you are ready, you can build two large homes, spec, custom, your choice! These lots have fantastic views, and are walking distance to Park City Mountain Resort.

Both sides have been rented heavily, and annually gross over $100,000 each. With 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, and a 2 car garage on

Sometimes you need to escape Park City for a long weekend and Zion National Park is a breathtaking natural wonder within easy reach. When spring weather starts to creep into Park City, you’ll find sublime 70 degree days waiting for you in Zion’s towering canyons.

It’s only a 5-hour drive from Park City to some of the world’s best hiking, canyoneering, backpacking, horseback riding, climbing, and fly fishing in Zion. You could even take a 1-hour flight from Salt Lake City International to St. George’s municipal airport and make a short drive by rental car.

The park is located just outside the town of Springdale and you won’t even have to rough it (unless you want to). Stay on a luxurious ranch just outside the park, in a full-service spa, or

Recently, I listed a home in Lower Pinebrook that has yet to hit the market, here is a great open

The home is a little over 4000 square feet with 5 Bedrooms, 4 Baths, flat driveway,  large lower level, and many more great features. The current owners have landscaped the entire property so you have a very colorful and inviting yard in the summertime. This home is a great opportunity in the Boothill area of Pinebrook, and a great family neighborhood. You will enjoy being very close to shopping, restaurants, schools, and very quick commute to Salt Lake City or Main Street, and the ski resorts.

Currently, I do not have photos as the sellers are prepping the home for sale, listing it at a very realistic price. If you wish to inquire about this home

How many times have we heard pricing described as $99.99, 999.99, or $1,999,990? Its all over the place, and we have all grown up being bombarded with the psychology of being told $999.99 is LESS that $1,000.00

In today’s world, almost every real estate showing starts out with an online search, to be followed up a visit to the property, should the online tour past muster.

In a sampling of all currently listed homes in the Park City Limits, there are 127 homes on the market, and I found 26 listings priced with what I call the “just under” strategy.  There is one in particular that is listed at $899,999,  juuuuust under $900,000!

My point is that in todays world, the major property search portals, examples being Zillow, Trulia, and the

This is what Park City NEEDS!!! For years, the epic terrain off of Motherlode Chair has been seldom skied due to the old fixed grip 3 person chair. Honestly, you would feel yourself grow older on this chair! With the high speed 8 pax chair connecting Canyons Resort and Park City Mountain Resort, along with a new restaurant, Park City will continue to become the top skier destination in North America.

Park City Mountain resort has been neglected for too many years, and I am personally excited to see Vail come in and maximize the potential of the terrain. PRAY FOR SNOW!!!

The whole country is freezing and Park City’s ski resorts are prepping for their 2014 season opening days. Our last storm didn’t bring as much as Lancaster, New York is getting right now, but the snow guns are blowing and more of Utah’s champagne powder is in the forecast.

PCMR opens up this Saturday Nov. 22nd, Canyons the following Friday Nov. 28th, and Deer Valley Resort® opens Saturday Dec 6th. Now that Vail operates PCMR and Canyons, you can attend both if you have your Epic Pass. It’s only available until November 23rd, so make sure you get yours if you want one.

If you have the Epic Local Pass, Canyons opening day is blacked out Friday and Saturday (Sunday is fair game) because it’s a holiday weekend, but you can ski or snowboard at PCMR if

Ski Utah’s ONE Wasatch concept is sure to boost Utah’s economy. This 18,000 acre interconnect experience will be the only one of its kind in the North America and we can leverage that to bring in more skier days than our competitors. That means more dollars from ski- and snowboard-related spending in Utah. Nathan Rafferty, President & CEO of Ski Utah, recently talked about the concept and this is what I learned.

18,000 acres. 100 lifts. 1 pass.

The Vision: Create the most efficient and enjoyable interconnected mountain resort ski experience in North America, recognizing watershed protection and backcountry ski terrain preservation as key elements.
