At the current moment, as of May 2020, many states are starting to lift stay at home orders and reopen their economies. Most of Utah has officially moved into the “stabilization phase” as businesses reopen, and residents acclimate to a “new temporary normal.”

The COVID-19 pandemic has certainly had an impact on the housing market, but as states begin to reopen, we’re seeing quite the recovery. Overall, it’s looking like demand for homes is high, but the supply of listings is lower than usual, although it is slowly rising.

When it comes to the current state of the housing market,

It all happened very quickly. On March 1st, 2020, Linsly Donnelly– a superhost on Airbnb with four properties in Park City, UT – received a cancellation request from a guest. Then, by March 14th she was receiving cancellations left and right, and guests with active bookings were simply not showing up to the houses.

“It was like the bottom fell out. We had people just not show up. Even with the house all ready, people said on the day of their booking that they weren’t coming,” Linsly said.

Because of everything happening with COVID-19, we knew that the vacation rental business must be heavily affected. So, we reached out to a client of ours, Linsly, who --with her family has multiple successful vacation rental properties in Park City to hear

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s widely known that hospitals have been in dire need of personal protective gear. This gear helps to protect doctors, nurses, and other health care workers from becoming infected when treating patients with COVID-19. Unfortunately, the hospitals in Utah are no exception and have also had a desperate need for personal protective equipment.

Thankfully, our former client Dan Gelston was able to rally up dozens of volunteers at his company, L3Harris, to convert their manufacturing lines to build over one thousand Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR) to donate to the University of Utah Health System.

Dan Gelston is not only the President of Broadband Communications Systems at L3Harris Technologies, but he is

Juggling your job from home along with taking care of your kids all day is no easy task.

It’s essentially like trying to manage two full-time jobs at the same time. And one of those jobs requires dealing with extremely bossy and needy people throughout the entire day. Or possibly both jobs, if your coworkers are as needy as your kids can be. ;)

All jokes aside, we are truly living in an unprecedented time. Many businesses have needed to shut down indefinitely. Millions have lost their jobs, and even more are now required to work from home.

Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has had a big impact across the globe. Not only has the virus spread and impacted the health of thousands, but the pandemic has also taken its toll on the economies in many countries, including the United States.

Buying a house is one of the best financial decisions you can make. There are so many reasons why owning your own home is ideal. These perks include property tax deductions, appreciation, mortgage interest deductions, and much more. Plus, there is just something special about being handed the keys to a home that you get to truly call your own.

Also, you know that when you’re paying your mortgage each month, your money is going towards paying down your home. This is much better than handing rent money over to your landlord – money you’ll never see again or benefit from.

Buying a house is also a very big deal. It’s a huge financial decision that can impact you for years. That’s why it is so important to make sure you follow the right steps when

Parking lots are great and all, but I’m sure you’d agree that replacing that space with a hotel, a few more restaurants, and even some condos is much more exciting.

Of course, you may argue that the parking spaces are necessary, especially with the limited parking situation already going on in Park City, and you’d be right. Thankfully, the developers for this project, PEG Companies, have considered this and are planning to account for the loss in parking spaces by developing garages.

This new Park City project is essentially a remake of the base area of PCMR, and it has been in the making for years.

The Park City Mountain Resort parking lots will be replaced by new developments. It’s an ambitious task, and a project that is going to be
