Posted by Scott Maizlish on Monday, July 2nd, 2012 at 8:50pm.

With the July 4th Holiday approaching on Wednesday, one of the most popular Park City culinary events of the year is right around the corner! ThePark City Food & Wine Classic allows us an opportunity to enjoy savory foods and over 500 wine, beer and spirit samples for four days.

Although the Kick-Off Celebration held at the St. Regis in Deer Valley has sold out, it’s not too late to purchase tickets for Friday’s Grand Tasting Stroll of Park City or Saturday's Toast of Park City Grand Tasting at Canyons Resort.

The Stroll of Park City allows you to wander Main Street from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 6 and experience Old Town’s local art galleries, restaurants and historic outdoor sites. At each stop on the Stroll, you’ll be invited to sample a variety of wines as well as experience some of Park City’s most popular culinary offerings. The price of $70.00 includes stops at:

Sky Lodge
Riverhorse on Main
• Town Lift
• Miner’s Park
High West Distillery
Silver Restaurant
350 Main
Kimball Arts Center

In addition to the main events, tickets are still available for a variety of seminars and courses, including Old Vines Make Great Wines, Sparkling Wines of Italy and Spain, The Art of Wine Blending, and Drink to your Health.

Can’t make Friday’s taste of Historic Main Street? The Grand Tasting on Saturday, July 7 in Canyons Resort’s Forum is expected to host over 1,500 attendees from 3:00-6:00 p.m.

In addition to a variety of domestic and international vineyards, spirits and beers – the $90.00 ticket includes an array of gourmet food purveyors and live entertainment.

I hope to see you out enjoying the festival!

Make it a great day!
