Four Good Reasons to invest in Park City Real Estate

epic-pass-logo2In the past year, there have been many more compelling reasons to invest in Park City Real Estate.

FACT: Vail has just taken over the Canyons, the largest resort in Utah. This is a long-term management contract that will have positive ripple effects across all of Utah, especially
Park City. Vail is one of the best in the business, and with Park City and Deer Valley just a stones throw away, it will only cause all the resorts in PC, as well as the rest of Utah to step up their game. With Vail’s Epic Pass allowing you to ski The Canyons and every other Vail Resort for under $700, this is a hard nut to crack for the other resorts because their season pass prices just got undercut by hundreds of dollars each. The Epic Pass Has reciprocation resorts in Colorado and California, which are a very quick flight to Salt Lake City. This will bring other skiers and potential investors to Park City, as their pass will now work here.

Don’t think for a moment that the other resorts are not concerned, because they are!!! Who benefits from this, YOU!

FACT: Main Street redevelopment is back in full swing. Many commercial properties have traded recently, and many buildings, including the Main Street Mall and Silver Queen Hotel are currently undergoing complete rehabilitations. This illustrates a very positive outlook for major investors in Park City. While Park City Mountain Resort already has lift service to Main Street, Deer Valley is currently investigating some sort of mountain access to Main Street as well. My speculation is that there will hopefully be some centralized ski access focal point that will marry the two resorts, as well as the bus transit center together in one location. There is nothing etched in stone about it, but I fell strongly about this possibility.

FACT: We are almost out of land! Park City and Summit County have spent many millions over the past decade to preserve thousands of acres of pristine property to be dedication to open recreation space. There just are not many large pieces of property to build on.

POSSIBLE FACT: Deer Valley is looking at expanding over on the Wasatch side! With Vail coming to town, its is now time for them to step up their efforts in an ever changing environment. This was proposed a few months ago. Just another sign that a consistent top rated resort wants to constantly elevate their game.
