Sanctuary Ranch: Private Mountain Community with Heli-Skiing
Sanctuary Heli Skiing Utah

There is a reason that Sir Richard Branson chose to tour the new homesites at the 525 Acre Sanctuary Ranch just outside of gorgeous Huntsville, Utah. No other private mountain community in the world that comes with the lifestyle its 13, 40 acre homesites do.

Sanctuary Ranch is the first private community in North America to offer commercial Heli-Skiing as a perk of home ownership. There is a helipad in the community. That’s right, walk out your door and get a lift to tens of thousands of acres of private and National Forest Service land. It’s some of the best ski terrain in the world.

That’s just the icing. These are also some of the most desirable homesites in Utah because two world-class ski resorts are within 20 minutes—Snowbasin Resort and Powder Mountain Resort. Miles of trails head out from your property and you’ll have private access to 10,000 acres of protected forest, streams, lakes, and mountain tops filled with wildlife.

The recreation possibilities are unrivaled.

Salt Lake City International Airport is only 45 minutes away and Ogden Private Jet is only 25 minutes. This is the most unique and accessible private mountain community in the country, if not the world.

Snowbasin and Powder Mountain Resorts are both within 20 minutes and offer some of the best skiing in the world, with short lift lines.

Snowbasin holds 3,000 skiable acres that get an average of 400 inches of snow every year. Its 2950 ft. of vertical skiing hosted the downhill, combined, and super-g events in the 2002 Winter Olympics. It’s not all advanced terrain though. There are plenty of family-friendly ski runs. The mountain also has many casual and fine dining experiences.

Powder Mountain has 2,800 lift-served skiable acres and another 4,400 acres accessed by snowcat. Take a ride on the snowcat. Or 10. The resort averages 350 inches of snow every year and is one of the least crowded resorts you’ll ever find. Powder Mountain is also home to Summit who is connecting their global network of the most successful people on the planet to the resort.
